· We have started a parking lot fund with plans to pave the west side of the building and a portion of the front where the parsonage was located. We need approximately $60,000 for the project. There is no time line on this and we don’t want this project to take away from our current expenses or building loan. If you would like to contribute, designate in the memo line of your check “parking lot fund.”
·A church workday will be held on Saturday morning, September 24th beginning at 8 am in the family life center with breakfast. A sign up sheet is located on the hall bulletin board for those attending the breakfast. A list of jobs that we wish to accomplish can be found on the bulletin board. This workday will allow us to get the church and grounds looking good before Homecoming.
· Our annual revival will begin on Sunday morning at 11:00 am and will continue Sunday night through Wednesday night. Our speaker for each service will be Bob Moulden from the Plymouth Church of Christ. Our services will begin at 7:00 pm each evening.
.· Our annual Homecoming will Be Sunday, October 2nd with Sunday School at 10:00 am and morning worship at 11:00 am. This will be followed by lunch in the Family Life Centers. Mark you calendars now so you can join us for this annual event. There will be no evening worship service. Offering will go to our Building Loan Our Goal is $6000.00
· Over the next several months, we will use pictures of things we are thankful for during offering time and will post them on the screen. If anyone in the congregation would like to share a picture that reminds you of something you are thankful for, then you will need to provide a digital picture that can be loaded on the church computer. We will continue through Thanksgiving.
· Noah Modlin came forward on Sunday August 7th and was baptized. We rejoice in his decision and welcome him to our church family.
